The senior advisors emphasized the importance of getting your project officially proposed and briefly talked about the common problems that prevent seniors from doing it.  With just two weeks to the end of the block, seniors need to act now in order to get their project proposed before the deadline.  We discussed the steps this required, including:
1.  Get your proposal written.
2.  Get your proposal edited by advisor.
3.  Get committee together (including expert and another staff).
4.  Get edited proposal to committee.
5.  Try to schedule meeting.  Keep trying.  Keep trying.
6.  Work with advisor to fill out rubric (found here: Rubric)

We then watched an extremely interesting, motivating, and inspiring video (inspiration!).  Seniors left with newfound vigor.
